SNS Architects & Engineers, PC, in collaboration with ARDITTI & RDT of Mexico City, served as the architect of record for this unique, modern 12,000 SF dwelling located in Northern New Jersey.
A "spine" wall was built on the north-south axis of the home to establish a distinct separation between the house's public, semi-public, and private zones. The "spine" wall's spaces are articulated as volumes, defined by a strict minimal form.
The living space, dining room, kitchen, and bedroom all face west, where the predominant views are.
Resinous fiber concrete, cementitious stucco, steel, and glass are among the materials used.
