SNS Architects & Engineers, PC was tasked with enhancing the first-floor entry lobby, elevator lobbies, hallways, elevator cabs, and café of Washington Plaza in Piscataway, New Jersey, in order to improve the outmoded public areas of the current building and to offer new amenities.
Second-story atrium openings were designed to provide residents with first-floor vistas, featuring a complex pattern of stone flooring. Modern corporate elegance is expressed through the palette of natural textures and warm hues inside the strong architectural grid.
Lighting completed the redesign and placed the building as a first-class participant in the leasing marketplace, with imported etched glass sconces at eye level and indirect light above.
