KPMG - Campus Development

SNS Architects & Engineers, PC was chosen to assist with the development of the KPMG campus in Montvale, New Jersey, after an extended partnership of providing Architectural and Engineering Design Services to KPMG.

Our firm was tasked with redesigning a recently bought facility adjacent to the existing KPMG campus. They sought to add value by developing the building to be a modern office environment.

The previous 64,000 SF structure was stripped down to bare steel, and "infills" were created to expand the room with minimum extra construction. We added 70,000 SF by increasing the current building footprint.

By adding a new building area and renewing the existing building area creatively, we were able to develop new two-story spaces that express innovation and vitality while being brightly lit and diversified to portray how this client operated in the new millennium. Within the design, we constructed vertical sun blinds to limit heat intake and a sun shelf to enable sunlight to reflect farther into the space.
