Bruce McGaw Graphics

The project included the design of 40,000 SF of distribution space and executive offices to accommodate Bruce McGaw's relocated New York City offices as well as three regional distribution facilities. The client desired an office that mirrored their modern/high-tech business while still offering all of the functionality required for art poster printing and distribution. Furthermore, their usage of paper necessitated the development of a mechanical mechanism to manage humidity.

SNS Architects & Engineers, PC used an open deck office design to showcase and celebrate the mechanical systems, while continuous pendant lighting supplied indirect/direct illumination at the work areas. Forms drawn from the external building elevation encircle the lobby interior, giving a vibrant backdrop with the most versatility for displaying the client's artwork.
