The formerly vacant property had been purchased by Prestige MINI to serve as the premier MINI dealership in Dutchess County. SNS Architects & Engineers, PC completely designed the new 20,000 SF ground-up building to reflect the quality and standards set forth by its sister facility in Ramsey, New Jersey.
Utilizing MINI USA’s design parameters, the building successfully displays the unique automobiles in a concept consistent with the manufacturer’s corporate identity. The dealership consists of a two-story high showroom with a modernized Service Center. Some key design elements include a floating glass display cube and an environmentally friendly car wash with full reclamation.
A unique design feature of the project was the creation of a landscaped vehicle display berm. While serving as a product display along the heavily trafficked Route 9, it also successfully screens the product inventory onsite.
