Prestige Mercedes-Benz of Paramus, New Jersey

SNS Architects & Engineers, PC was hired to design the 87,000 SF building, which was previously a GMC dealership, as the new home of the country's second-largest Mercedes-Benz dealer. The architecture of the building, which adheres to international "Autohaus" standards of design, reflects the Mercedes-Benz culture and values through distinct architectural elements. Extensive spans of glass curtain walls, distinctive columns, and visible structural and mechanical systems represent Mercedes-Benz's well-known German engineering.

The cutting-edge Sales and Service Center features approximately 17,000 SF of showroom space, including a spectacular 2nd-floor showroom above the main sales area. Customers dropping off automobiles for servicing are shielded from bad weather in an 8,000 SF enclosed service drive-through, and if they are waiting for their vehicle, they can use a full-service customer lounge. The dealership, which is located a few miles from Mercedes Benz USA's previous corporate headquarters, has set the standard for future Mercedes-Benz facilities across the country.
